Still waiting for some footage from a couple of the recent films I acted in but the 2009 acting demo reels are now put together - see the HOME page for links to watch them. (why them? because there is a main one and then two others concentrating on roles from the EAST and from the WEST respectively)
After going through the training course, I am now a licensed motorcycle rider: just in time for any biker films casting right now.
And I got my first motorcycle too, it's only that it is a miniature bike so it can't be ridden :-))

ABSOLUTION is a story about globalization and my character Cosmin is one of the few isolated members of groups resisting the total integration.
The X-Terminator - a character name I came up with, the real character is a simple exterminator from the pest control services - is being "terminated" in this somewhat surreal story called "KITTY, KITTY".
As "DUEL TIMES" the period film where I played Donald Flint is going through the final stages of post-production, a demo trailer is available here.
The Ultimate Filmmaker Competition judges have considered my time travel story unclear and the sci-fi story beyond the budget to be awarded for the winning script. Nevertheless, the time travel feature script continues its development while the sci-fi script is awaiting investors.

Just finished principal photgraphy on the film "DUEL TIMES" where I played the role of Doc Flint. Also, my poem "I stand" is now being published as part of a collection of poems entitled: GREAT POEMS OF THE WESTERN WORLD.
Two of my scripts are now competing in the ULTIMATE FILMMAKER COMPETITION: the first prize is a complete preproduction, production and distribution of the winning script. Keep your fingers crossed.
The movie BEHOLDEN where I played the silent but deadly Russian mobster VADIM/WALTER is now on the festival circuit and has already received a number of awards.

Upon searching through craigslist, I have come across an add that invites people to enter a contest: the TV show BONES is providing an audition sript for a character named FISHER - the contestant needs to provide a video of his interpretation of the character.
Here's my AUDITION for BONES and here's MORE ABOUT THE BONES CONTEST. Enjoy.

May this be a happy year for everyone. And here's a poem inspired by the good old times at the RING:
To Lily
Tonight I'm gonna dance
With you
The dance that will forever
Melt our hearts,
Together.
Tonight, just you and me,
We'll show our moves
And wonder free
The dance floor
That's never been forgotten.
Our bodies will perspire
And lift our spirits high
Above the clouds we'll fly
Together,
Just you and me.
Again, like way before
The midday will direct us
And catch us on the ring
And once again, forever
I'll be your Tarzan Boy.
And those who are alive
And kicking
And all the young at heart
Will join us in the madness
Of shinning in the dark.

There could be a number of reasons for heart burn: insufficient sleep, bad food, brain damage, computer screen overload, strees, lack of exercise, and so on. But what could be the best solution?
Have played in another U.S.C. production: CONDOMINIUM - the story of a man facing a torturer from the past.
And some more poems came into being :
STORM FLIGHT
I stand on a ledge
Like a bird
Looking out for a storm
That’s what I heard.
The sky is still blue
And sun’s shinning bright
But out in the distance
The sky turns to night.
Heavy dark clouds gather
Heading right my way
I shouldn’t wait and stare
But rush to fly away.
No need to get caught in
The wrath of the storm
The thunders can shatter
My dwelling that is warm.
Despite the approaching
Of roar and dark clouds
I push into the darkness
I glance at the grass.
I once flew the distance
And got quite away
I cherished my life then
Now I chose to stay.
The rain comes down pouring
Soaked is everywhere
Drenched from top to bottom
To fly I no longer dare.
AWAKE IN THE DARK
In the power of the night
I wish I could sleep but I fight.
My eyes would no longer close
So I stare
At the roof of my van then I dare
To get-up and become aware.
A night bird somewhere sings its song
And once in a while
A car passes by and moves along.
I pull out a gas lamp
It used to be a prop
But now it comes handy
To light-up my lap.
My notebook is filled with
Poems from the past
But I no longer care
My poems will not last.
I wish I had something
Important to say
Instead I’m wasting paper
And my ink away.
But I keep on writing
Because I can’t sleep
And I can’t write either
I’m struggling a bit
My thoughts cross like phantoms
Translucid and vague
That’s hardly one to grasp on
And that makes me mad.
I look at my options
There’s no one I could call
To speak out the darkness
To quiet my soul.
I wish I could paint
A picture of you
To say that I love you
Would no longer be true.
So why full myself
With flowers and letters sent
And words intended to glamour
And intentions that are not bent?
Who in the world would believe
That after total eclipse there’s relief
And after the storm
The sun comes to keep us again, worm?
I know those things are but true
I wish I could say the same
About me and you.
But you is not you but someone new
And me is not me
But only remainings
Of how I once used to be.
I pause for a second
To move the lamp
And listen to a few more cars
Come off the highway on the ramp.
Reality bytes me
The night is obscure
I stopped the race that my body
Used to endure.
But physical one more time
I should get
Knock out this aging process
Without regret.
I noticed I’m cutting down on things
That used to bring me joy
Elevate me like kings.
I no longer feel the desire to smoke
And look at my body at the end of the rope
I wish I could accelerate
Step down on the gas
Peel off in one direction
Escape this mess.
As much as I try it
No place comes to mind
Where I can now head over
And be one of a kind.
Instead I keep on writing
My gas lamp on the side
But I should go to sleep now
Before night turns back to light.
THE CAPTIVES
'Your sperm is not sweet
Rather salty and bitter.'
So said my girlfriend
And she gagged a bit.
I remained puzzled
As she went to shower
I needed a beer
Left for happy hour.
The waitress was friendly
The beer nice and cold
I stared at the big screen
Am I getting old?
The picture was fuzzy
I hope it's the beer
My vision was blurry
Is that player bold?
I looked around the sports bar
Just a bunch of guys
If not for the waitress
A gay bar in disguise.
Finished out my beer
Dropped a heavy tip
Stepped out in the heat wave
I'm sweating quite a bit.
Jesus in a corner
Was playing guitar
And people were stopping
To drop some change in his jar.
A cop car with the sirens
In full blast passed through
No one seemed to care
For the crime that was due.
A sign on a building
Said 'for rent' in red
Should I get my own place
Or I'm still content?
The cell phone in my pocket
Starts to make some noise
'Where did you go honey?
I'm up for another set.'
I put down the cell phone
My girlfriend is so hot
Exhausted with love making
I head back to that brat.

And here is an experimental project involving animation and live action, entitled: The Castle Tale.

Sometimes inspiration comes and out of that cloud new works come into being. Here are a couple of poems:
ONE A DAY
I need one a day
To ease out my pain
And purge out the brain
From its set decay.
Just one is enough
For the sake of art
Not to try be smart
That would be a bluff.
Once I tried a couple
And I overdosed
My eyes blinked and closed
And I lost my mettle.
So I'll stay with one
One a day for fun
Better then a gun
And beats having none.
The poem came to being once I started to write poems everyday, but the habit didn't last long - hard to be a dreamer when reality bites you.
Here is a seed of love shattered by the reality of facts once again:
MY QUESTION
What am I going to do
Once I fall in love with you?
Your blue eyes are like crystals
A light in the abyss.
I cannot read the answer
To life's perpetual truth.
Your touch,
Like a drop of rain
On a deserted flower
Comes wakening my spirit
Unlock the chains of sorrow.
Beneath the iron armour
A heart for long forgotten
Awakens in a struggle
To pierce the thickness through.
And now that I have seen you
Arising in my life
What am I going to do
Once I fall in love with you?
I ask and stare at pictures
Reminding me of you
My night would turn to lightness
If you would love me too.
Here's a song I wrote, as part of my poetry brainstorming.
DAY & NIGHT
I'm thinking of you
Every day
I met you in June
Now is May.
The flower fields wave
In full bloom
I sit in my chair
In my room.
The sun is still shinning
In vain.
The thought of you
Gives me just pain
My life
Will be never the same
As I'm thinking of you
Once again.
R: Oh, what ever happened then
Why did we not break the strain
Why did the love force
Never come to bloom
And why did we never
Overcome the rain?
And why did we never
Catch that train
And live our lives
Together.
And live our lives
Together.
I'm thinking of you
Every night
I wonder why I
Never fight
To conquer your heart and
Be with you
To reach for your love
And follow through.
The moon is alive
In the sky
And shadows are dancing
On the ground.
I look at my life
And deny
My heart beat that now
Makes no sound.
R: Oh, what ever happened then
Why did we not break the strain
Why did the love force
Never come to bloom
And why did we never
Overcome the rain?
And why did we never
Catch that train
And live our lives
Together.
And live our lives
Together.

And digging through my email box I found the link to "TICKETS PLEASE".
The "wrap party" for Red Red Rope took place at an amazing restaurant (PREMIER in Studio City) - Russian foods, live band, belly dancers and Salsa entertainers have sparkled the night - and of course the cast members, who enjoyed their time on the
dance floor. Here are some pictures.
March 23, 2008
RED RED ROPE is coming together. Here are some previews: part 1 and part 2.
Meanwhile, I have played another cop role in a USC film.
February 29, 2008 - a unique day
It's a wrap. Production for "RED RED ROPE" has ended and as the movie moves into post-production, the wrap party would bring the cast and crew together one more time.
In the meantime, I am about to be noticed as a poet, with the poem: "I STAND".
February 21, 2008
I am in preparation for the movie "RED RED ROPE" where I get to play ANTON.
Just finished playing a COP for a U.S.C. short entitled "TEAMWORK".
The film "A CIGAR AT THE BEACH" is now being distributed in Canada.
The film "WHO WOULDA THUNK" had me play CHESTER- a hillbilly wrestler. The film is in post-production.
The film entitled "THE DEADLY FRONTIER short film" where I played a CAMERAMAN has entered the festival circuit. The film screened for the first time to a very responsive audience at the FILMMAKERS ALLIANCE in Inglewood, CA.
August 1, 2007

"A Cigar At The Beach" film where I played a MERCHANT MARINE character will be screening at the Hermosa Beach FILM FESTIVAL on August 10, 2007 at 6 PM. (see bottom of the page for an online preview of the film and information about the production company and other screenings)
Just finished working on two USC projects, "Darwin's Jungle" (played the BLAKE character) and "Tickets Please" (played the WARNER character).
I am now registered with a number of agencies in LAS VEGAS to expand the work opportunities I have been cultivating in LOS ANGELES and SAN DIEGO.
Towards the end of this month, I'll be acting as "cameraman" for "THE DEADLY FRONTIER" short film. (from R.A.Y. PRODUCTIONS)
Also, there are still pick up shots going on for "All In" where I play the character "BANECH". The film is the prequel to "Prospectors 1880" and part of the OLD WEST series "Prospectors Of The Deadwoods".
July 3, 2007
I was born and raised in Eastern Europe, in Romania, and I always had the traveling bug, to see new places, to explore new worlds.
I have seen many countries in Europe, and since living in U.S., I've been traveling around with every chance I got. Lately, I have been making some documentaries, like travel logs, that can be seen on the internet, on MYSPACE.
I have a tough time deciding between the mountains and the ocean, I like both, but the acting world in Los Angeles reaches from one to the other.
There's a lot of fantasy in my life, and the film work and acting provides. I am also having projects on my own and with other people, see www.rayproductions.us for more info.
I am having a trip back into the Old West and the California world of gold prospectors. I find it fascinating to learn about the history and lifestyles of those times, and how this land became populated as it is today. A few films I worked on can be seen on YOUTUBE as part of the PROSPECTORS OF THE DEADWOODS series.
First Entry, 2006
The short film "A Cigar At The Beach" where I have played a "merchant marine" is going through the international festival circuit and so far it has received a growing number of awards around the world. See the film at the NOW CASTING FILM FESTIVAL.
More information about the film can be obtained at www.triskelionent.com
